Our 6-Step Mobile App Launch Workflow
We've refined our launch process over years of shipping React Native apps. Here's exactly how we take a project from feature freeze to users tapping on your icon.
Step 1: Feature Freeze
The most important step. Once we agree on the scope, nothing new gets added. Every feature request gets logged for v1.1. This is where most projects derail — protecting the scope is our job.
Step 2: Internal Alpha
We run the app on real devices — not simulators. Every flow, every edge case, every error state. We fix bugs in priority order: crashes first, then broken flows, then visual polish.
Step 3: Client Beta
You get a TestFlight build. This is where you see the app on your own phone and use it in real conditions. We give you a structured feedback template so you know what to look for.
Step 4: App Store Preparation
Screenshots in all required sizes, app description, keywords, privacy policy, and testing notes. We prepare everything Apple and Google need to approve your app.
Step 5: Launch
We submit to both stores simultaneously. App Store review typically takes 24–48 hours. Google Play is usually faster. We monitor the status and handle any rejection issues immediately.
Step 6: Post-Launch Iteration
The app is live — now the real work begins. We monitor crash reports, read every review, and plan the next iteration based on real user behavior. This is where retention is built.
